A Classic french Soup Tureen made of heavy ironstone that was likely used as brasserie service ware. Perfect for serving that beautiful Lobster Bisque, Bouillabaisse or Beef Bourguignon. A simple and elegant design is a must-have for any well dressed french inspired table setting. The heavy ironstone allows it to be used in the oven for maintaining heat or even to melt or "gratiné your dishes. It has a very stylish retro feel with classic lions head handles and fluted knob top. It is marked on the bottom " Tradition CNP France". Dress it up or dress it down it will be your go-to serving vessel for all your favorite dishes. I know I can't live without mine.
