Elegant French Antique Gravy Boat by Maker Badonviller from the Oriental Collection
Beautiful French Antique Saucier with graceful shape and ornate dark blue flow transfer motif. This lovely piece has a very special delicate scalloped shape perfect for adding to your antique table scape or a collection of special antique french pieces. It is by the prestigious Maker Badonviller from their service Oriental. The mark on the base dates it from the early part of the 20th century. The beautiful deep navy transfer has a subtle bleeding effect, known as "flow blue", which originally was a mistake in production that ultimately became a much sought after effect in the world of transferware hence the name.
It is in very good antique condition with only some faint crazing, NO chips, cracks, hairs or teastaining. Please see photos for details
