This cute small size enamel tureen is the perfect addition to any shabby chic, country, or retro dining ensemble. It has a nice distressed quality, mostly on the lid, giving it a lovely shabby chic feel while the base is almost pristine, so could certainly still be used for food service. This is stamped Sweden on the base. The lid has an opening for a ladle handle.
Use to serve side dishes, a great way to present warm bread rolls the table, country picnic or BBQ Just add a nice cloth napkin and it's perfect for keeping them warm. This will add some rustic french flare to your decor.
There are some large worn areas in the enamel around the edge of the lid that can be seen in the photos. The base enamel is intact with some minor glaze flaws.
