French Antique Gravy Boat, Creil et Montereau Colbert Blue on White, Shabby Chic Sauce Boat
Beautiful Shabby Chic Saucier with graceful shape and ornate hand painted blue motif. This lovely piece has a very special delicate scalloped shape and stunning lions head handles. It is perfect for adding to your antique tablescape or a collection of special antique french pieces. It is by the prestigious Maker Creil et Montereau from their service Colbert. The mark on the base dates it from the later part of the19th century making it well over 100 yrs old.
It is in lovely shabby chic antique condition. It has one tiny fine hair at the base rim only visible from the bottom and one small chips chip in the rim of the the spout end.
