This large size enamelware tureen dates from the 1930s and features heavy white enameling decorated by a beautiful hand-painted floral motif of roses and daisies with navy trim. This design is becoming increasingly hard to find. The color scheme of this piece also makes it easy to blend with the existing collection or to stand alone in many styles of decor.

Use as a lovely decorative piece or catch-all anywhere in the house, great for decorative storage. Also, a great way to present warm bread rolls to the table, country picnic or BBQ Just add a nice cloth napkin and it's perfect for keeping them warm. This piece is in lovely antique condition with some signs of wear throughout creating a lovely shabby effect. There are some worn areas in the enamel around the rims and the base but it is solid and strong. The interior has some crazing in the enamel and a few tiny spots of enamel loss.
