Extra Long French Antique Wicker Baguette Basket with original hemp linen lining

Handwoven in beautiful honey-colored wicker, long and deep for a traditional extra long french baguette. They are lined with the original rustic hemp linen fabric. This type of basket would have been used for proving bread loaves before baking. This beautiful french farmhouse decorative accent makes for lovely kitchen storage, display, or a rustic way to present your bread at the table. I like to fill mine with apples or pears for a striking centerpiece. Bring a bit of old-world french boulangerie spirit to your space with this gorgeous and classic french "panier".

Both baskets are in lovely antique condition, with a subtle time-worn patina, worn edges, some wear and distressing in the lining, but still solid. There are some minor spots of broken wicker but nothing structural, very minor. They are both slightly bowed or ben in shape but it adds a certain rustic charm. (See photos for details).
